I am Kseniia Kudriavtseva — children's book illustrator whose creative journey began in 2016. After studying the basics of web design at the St. Petersburg School of Television, I discovered my true passion for illustration.
My professional path includes collaborations with Noble Road Publishing, Greenleaf Book Group Press, Waldorf Publishing, Land of Tales, Reading Potato, Pascal Books, Cove Publishing, Indie Earth Publishing, Preemie Book, The Dreamwork Collective, and Stateroom Statements. My work has gained recognition worldwide, with publications in the United States, United Kingdom, and China.
I live in sunny Tbilisi. My love for stories originated in childhood when my grandmother would tell me fascinating stories from her life before bedtime. It was then that I learned to feel life in all its manifestations, which greatly influenced my approach to illustration.
Life with my husband Alex, son Oliver, and our Spitz dog Pixel fills my work with special warmth. My interests—reading books, The Beatles music, niche perfumery, creating playlists on DJ equipment, stand-up comedy, participating in film therapy groups, Latin dancing, yoga, skiing, kalimba sounds, and making pancakes and coffee—all enrich my life and infuse my art with warmth, humor, and coziness. I'm currently working on my own book—another way to share the thoughts that live inside me.
My drawings always contain a bit of magic, lots of kindness, and a touch of humor. It's important to me that my work not only pleases the eye but also tells stories about important things: love, family, comfort, kindness, inclusivity, empathy, multiculturalism, mindfulness, love for life, and care for our planet.
